Woke Up Needing Groceries and Clothes
Rolled outta bed this morning realizing I gotta hit Hudson Mall in Jersey City. Needed new sneakers and some groceries bad. But first thought: “Is this place even open today?” Holidays mess everything up, you know?
Grabbed My Phone and Started Digging
Opened my laptop while chewing toast. Typed “Hudson Mall hours today” straight into Google. Scrolled past a buncha junk till I found what looked like the mall’s official page. Bingo! Saw their regular hours listed:
- Monday-Saturday: 10 AM – 9:30 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM – 7 PM
Checked my calendar – Wednesday. Should be open normal hours. But still felt iffy. Last month I showed up to Macy’s on a holiday and found locked doors.
Double-Checked the Store Situation
Didn’t wanna drive all the way there just to find half the stores closed. Searched “Hudson Mall store list” next. Found a directory page showing all shops. Scanned for my targets:
- Foot Locker ✔️
- Best Buy ✔️
- Target ✔️
Noticed some smaller stores like that fancy soap place were closed Sundays. Good thing I checked!
Made the Trip Around Noon
Parking lot was packed – shoulda known that was a good sign. Walked past the main entrance and saw printed hours taped on the glass door. Matched what I found online exactly. Felt smug doing my homework first.
Target had everything I needed. Foot Locker had that new colorway I wanted. Mission complete!

Always check three things before mall runs:
- Holiday hours (Google their holiday schedule)
- Specific store closures (call if you’re going for one shop)
- Parking alerts (heard they close levels sometimes)
Saved me two hours of gas and frustration today. Worth the five-minute search!
